Floating in the sea of my heart

I love late night.
They give me a break,
a time to look over my life
or the day I’ve just had,
And I can hear my thoughts clearly.
The night is my companion.
She’s my friend.
Such a good good friend.
When I have to talk, just talk,
She just listens to me.
And she lets me say or do the things
I want to say or do.
She’ll stay with me all night.
Until I get asleep.
